Brad Buchanan is the owner and operator of Flying B Bar Ranch, where he cultivates grass-fed, humanely raised Wagyu/Angus cattle on the family owned and operated ranch located 30 miles east of Denver along the lush grasses of the Kiowa Creek. The Flying B is a certified American Grassfed Association Producer and holds an Animal Welfare Approved certification. Brad lives a double life, one as a rancher living and working at the flying B and the other at the Planning Director for the City of Denver, working to vision and implement a sustainable, equitable future for one of the fastest growing cities in the US. Brad and his wife Margaret, along with their adult children, Grace and Will live in Strasburg on the ranch, with their 900 head of cattle, 6 horses, 12 cats, 4 dogs, 250,000 bees and a rescued mule named “Cruiser”.
