Annie Walsh is a certified holistic nutritionist and yoga instructor. She traded the ocean for the mountains ten years ago when she moved to Denver from San Diego. She stumbled upon Slow Food a few years back while working on an assignment for her Food Politics class. She immediately fell in love with the organization and got involved by volunteering at numerous events.
Annie holds the role of the Cooking from the Garden Program Coordinator. She is the liaison between the schools and the instructors for Slow Food Denver’s After School Program. The more children reached by this program, the more health and awareness are brought to the community.
When Annie is not working at Slow Food she enjoys spreading health as a nutritionist, teaching yoga classes downtown, gardening for Grow Local Colorado and spending quality time with family and friends.
