The Future of Slow Meat

The future of meat may very well lie in the soil of regenerative agriculture. Practices that were once considered conservationist are becoming more widespread as efforts expand to improve water retention, increase nutrient-density and reduce erosion or run-off. Wondering where meat comes into play? Considering the greenhouse gas emissions created by widely produced livestock and a growing global appetite for animal protein, there’s a clear call for change. This talk will explore traditional and innovative approaches to a nourishing a hungry world.

Slow Food Summits offer the opportunity to explore Where Tradition Meets Innovation and current topical issues related to good, clean and fair food. Each summit starts with a one hour talk followed by a 30-minute social gathering over small bites and/or beverages that relate to the talk.
