Pamela Lanier is the author of 20 travel titles in over 130 book editions. She is the founder of Bed and Breakfasts, Inns, and Guest Houses International and established the TravelGuides.com network. Pamela has increased her involvement in ecotourism and sustainable travel, leading presentations at the World Conservation Congress in Jeju, South Korea and the World Wilderness Congress in Salamanca, Spain, World Travel Market, London, and World Parks Congress, Sydney, amongst one-hundred and thirty conference presentations worldwide.

She is a National Geographic Geo Ambassador, serves on the steering committee of IUCN’s WPC “healthy parks, healthy people” and a member of CEC. She is also the founder of Friends of Sustainable Tourism International and EcoGo. Her most recent title is The Good Company: Sustainability in Hospitality, Tourism, and Wine.
