Sweet Dreams are Made of Cheese
Who loves cheese?! We at Slow Food certainly do, and we are excited to be featuring a number of cheesemakers and dairy producers at Slow Food Nations. Even on an international level, we are celebrating cheese as Slow Food and the City of Bra in Piedmont, Italy are throwing a festival this coming September 15-18 in honor of Cheese turning 20 years old. Cheese 2017 is dedicated to high-quality and artisanal dairy products, and, over the years, has built a network of cheesemakers, shepherds and farmers who have come together each year at this event to share their products, discuss critical issues, and support our connection to land, animal welfare, and respect for the landscape.
If you can’t make it to Italy, you will still have an equally engaging experience at Slow Food Nations where you’ll have the opportunity to indulge your tastebuds at some scrumptious cheese-centered events this July.
