Taylor Pate is a current MSc candidate in Food Security and Development at University of Reading in Reading, UK. Professional experience and interests lie in urban food policy, gender equity, childhood nutrition education, climate change adaptation and mitigation, urban agriculture and gender mainstreaming, project management/development, traveling, cooking, and writing.

Taylor has recently carried out research in the UK on the role of gender planning in urban agriculture and climate change mitigation. She is also an active member and advocate of Slow Food International, the Central Brooklyn Co-Op, and Greene Hill Co-Op.
