Tay Dunklee is a Program Administrator for the City and County of Denver’s Solid Waste Management division, specializing in education and community outreach for the City’s recycling and composting programs. Through her work with the Denver Composts program, the Denver Master Composter program and other projects, she is helping to grow composting efforts in Denver in all forms — curbside collection, backyard composting, and the use of finished compost in Denver’s soil – aka – closing the compost loop. Prior to working for the Denver Solid Waste Management, Tay was a Program Coordinator for the University of Denver’s Living and Learning Communities. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science from the University of Denver.
