Nick Gruber has over seventeen years of experience in landscaping.  He received his Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies at the University of Colorado at Boulder. After graduating he worked as a professional researcher at the Colorado School of Public Health on a study looking at the social, cultural and ecological experiences and values specific to gardening and how these factors can influence health. The research led to an opportunity start Produce Denver in 2008 an edible landscaping company dedicated to increasing and ensuring access to fresh local organic food in Denver. Produce Denver manages farms and gardens on both public and private lands including Denver Public Schools, the Denver Convention Center, Denver Housing Authority, and Denver home owners.
