Nancy is an executive director with Muranga Water and Sanitation Company (MAWASCO). She co-chairs the finance and Human Resource committee in the company’s board. She is the vice-chair of Slow Food Kenya and the leader of Slow Food Kandara. Nancy Muhoro has been actively involved in the 10000 Gardens project in Kenya, where she coordinates over 50 gardens in her area. In her role as an executive director of MAWASCO, she has actively lobbied for policies that enable small-scale farmers to have access and sustainably use their water resources.
