Lead Consultant, Drylands Development Company Limited - Regional Pastoral Livelihood Resilience Project, Kenya

Mohamed Dida c, has Bachelor of Environmental Studies [Planning and Management-Kenyatta University] and currently is finalizing his MA Project, specializing in Advanced Disaster Management [MA Programme] at University of Nairobi, Kenya.

He recently worked as Expert-Disaster Risk Reduction/Disaster Responder with Cordaid, an International Development Organization, and currently works as lead consultant with Drylands Development Company Limited –Training and Technical Support for the World Bank Funded Regional Pastoral Livelihood Resilience Project in Kenya. He is also Director of Partnership and Programs at Indigenous Strategy and Institution for Development (ISID) – A local NGO.

He has over 15 years of uninterrupted work and professional experience in Arid and Semi-Arid Lands & Pastoralist Development Programs, Natural Resource Management and Integrated Disaster Risk Management and International Development Assistance in the Horn of Africa with expert experience in Kenya, Ethiopia and South Sudan.

He is also a member of Alliance for Africa Food Sovereignty (AFSA).
