Micah Clark is originally from Lawrence, Kansas where his family always made sure that holidays and mealtimes were true family affairs. Growing up, the main rule around family events was that everyone had to contribute something to the dinner table- no matter your age or culinary ability. This central focus on food would turn into a driving focus through college. While attending Cornell University, Micah fell hard for the wine world. After bouncing between the Midwest and West Coast for a few years Micah landed in Napa Valley and joined the team at The Restaurant at Meadowood. He’s been the Wine Director since 2017 where he oversees one of Napa’s best wine lists- with a detailed focus on Napa Cabernet and California’s brightest talents. The Restaurant at Meadowood has held three Michelin stars since 2011 and a Wine Spectator Grand Award since 2016.
