Lee van der Voo is an award-winning journalist and the author of The Fish Market – Inside the Big-Money Battle for the Ocean and Your Dinner Plate. She has reported extensively on the U.S. approach to sustainable seafood and its impacts on fishermen and coastal towns. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, High Country News, Slate, and others. Her knowledge of seafood policy has also made her a frequent radio guest, including on NPR’s Marketplace, KCRW’s Good Food and WCCO’s Off The Menu.
