Chef Karen Renz is self taught. She has had incredible mentors over the last 45 years ranging from Pastry Chef Sven Knudson from the Netherland to Chef Alex, that had received his culinary education from Cordon Bleu in Paris. Karen feels her secret ingredient is “love” making all very special.
As the co-owner of Nannas Gourmet Market, she and her daughter, Chef Tobie Garcia, offer an international menu for their school lunch program, afternoon teas for seniors and friends that just stop by for an afternoon cocktail. Chef Tobie and Chef Karen are excited to offer their international menu in their newest restaurant in Park Hill Commons opening in Spring of 2020.
