Gerry Warren

Founder, Slow Food Seattle

Professionally, Gerry is a retired Clinical Professor in Rehabilitation Medicine and Bioengineering at the University of Washington Medical School. He is a past president of the Enological Society of the Pacific Northwest, chaired its judging of Northwest wines and is founding chair of the Auction of Northwest Wines. He and his wife Diane organic garden, enjoy cooking, and have been making wine for 45 years. Gerry judges at wine competitions in the Northwest and California. He is founder and a past co-leader of the Seattleā€™s Slow Food chapter in 1997 and is a chapter board member. He is Slow Food State Governor of Washington. He has remained involved in the Ark of Taste and Presidia activities since their inception in 1997.
