Stowaway Kitchen is a suitcase of adventures shared and amounted by my husband and myself. We spent 10 years living and traveling around the world, always seeking good, earnest food. Along the way, we encountered different versions of comfort food, or home cooking, and always tried to weave it into our kitchens at home. For us, it redefined the word ‘home’ to a place where you can rely on good food and good company.
After years of cooking in mostly Australia and Japan, we decided to try to create our own home stateside. After visiting several cities in the US, we decided to stay in Denver and open Stowaway. Hayden runs the front of house and I run the kitchen. Our philosophy remains the same and we couldn’t feel more grateful for the community that surrounds us.
