Meet the World at Slow Food Nations

When you travel to a new place, do you stick with the food that you know, or do you dig into local cuisine? Some of my fondest memories are getting a sweet fried mandazi in Uganda or a steaming bowl of phở gà in Vietnam. This street food is fresh and cheap, flavorful and accessible.

At Slow Food Nations this year, we are celebrating how food is a bridge to cultures and communities. From the Global Street Food Social and a workshop on The Ancient Art of Tortillas, to Italian wines and sake makers, the festival is a window to the global food movement. I hope you’ll join us in Denver this July 13-15!
