As powerful forces decimate rural economies and greenwash suspect food, we need to step up for rural communities. Our family farms and farmers need support now more than ever.
In this discussion, we’ll hear from Carrie Balkcom, executive director of the American Grassfed Assocation, Joe Maxwell, farmer and ED of the Organization for Competitive Markets, and Greg Gunthorp, a 4th generation farmer in Indiana. They will point out the issues with labeling, rural development and policy, and help you understand how to be an advocate for small farms.
This session is only open to participants of the Slow Food Leader Summit.
