Join school garden leaders from across the nation who will be sharing stories about their impact of connecting children to good, clean, and fair food. Participants will learn about best practices and how to ensure sustainability in school garden programs. Topics include: overcoming barriers, incorporating taste education, and ideas on how to embed plant-based learning into the school curriculum. Slow Food USA School Garden Network co-chairs, Kim Aman and Cynthia Walters will be moderating the panel discussion and setting the stage for continuing the conversation throughout the Slow Food Nations weekend.
This breakout session is available to participants of the Slow Food Leader Summit.
