In this panel, we’ll explore the concept of sovereignty in relation to the multifaceted dynamics of power, culture, and self-determination in the food system. You’ll learn how the food sovereignty movement is growing in urban, rural, indigenous and immigrant communities in the United States and beyond. Together, we’ll come up with practical ways to support this movement in our own communities. Photo © Michael Benanav.
