Relais & Châteaux chefs Josh Drage (The Ranch at Rock Creek) and Renata Ameni (Manresa) will partner with local James Beard award-winning chefs Alex Seidel (Mercantile) and Jen Jasinski (Ultreia) to create a climate-friendly dinner at Slow Food Nations. This four-course menu will celebrate Food for Change in partnership with Slow Food, together fighting for a healthy climate and vibrant biodiversity.
Our food system is responsible for 30% of greenhouse gas emissions. By inspiring people around the world to be more mindful about food, Relais & Châteaux is paying tribute to Earth’s bounty.
Your meal will include cheese and charcuterie from Blackberry Farm. Special guests from Blackberry Farm include master gardener John Coykendall and garden manager Michael Washburn. Micah A. Clark of Meadowood will prepare beverage pairings for the evening, along with acclaimed Barolo winemaker, Simone Scarletta, and Jon Schlegel.
