John Ikerd has proposed that eliminating hunger is the first requisite of agricultural sustainability. The efforts of farmers to care for the land should be closely tied to advocates who work to feed the hungry.
Slow Food’s mantra is “Good, clean and fair food for all.” We want those who are less fortunate to be as well-fed as those who are more fortunate, but how do we actually implement this in practice?
This session will work to find ways to implement “fair for all,” with a special focus on ending hunger.
This session is only open to participants of the Slow Food Leader Summit.
