Chef Cooking Club: Nightshades Edition

Join Citizen Rail for a special edition of the Chef Cooking Club (AKA the drinking club with a cooking problem), where they bring in local chefs to create unique small bites for each month’s theme.

In honor of Slow Food Nations, they are teaming up with 3 talented chefs for a nightshades themed evening. This ‘Shady Night with Chefs’ will include 2 dishes each from:

-Drew Deckman (Deckman’s En El Mogor)
-Sheila Lucero (Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar)
-Adam Branz (Ultreia)
-Christian Graves (Citizen Rail)

Cooking Club small bites can be purchased for $9 and guests can enjoy the regular happy hour during the event.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit Slow Food USA.

 ABOUT NIGHTSHADES | Nightshades are a botanical family of plants, more technically called Solanaceae. There are more than two thousand plant species in the nightshade family, the most common being bell peppers, tomatoes, eggplant, garden huckleberry, goji berries, hot peppers (such as chili peppers, jalapeños, habaneros & cayenne), potatoes and tomatillos.
