Tourists want to connect with locals on their trips, and small farms have interesting stories. How do we connect the two? In this discussion, we’ll focus on integrating agritourism with the practices of agro-ecology to draw tourists to small farms and ranches. We’ll assess the ways agritourism can expand existing ecotourism businesses like lodges, touring companies and community agricultural efforts. We’ll focus on how to market these businesses to a wider audience.
