Navigating the Mile-High City

Welcome to Denver, where 300 days of sunshine, a thriving cultural scene and magnificent natural beauty come together for the world’s most spectacular playground.

Slow Food Nations will take over Union Station and Larimer Square in downtown Denver. Follow the Snail Trail as you walk between these venues. Other venues, like the MSU Hospitality Center and Urban Farmer restaurant, are within walking distance or easy to access via public transportation.

Denver International Airport

Fly into Denver International Airport, then take the A-Line train straight to Union Station to disembark at the main hub of Slow Food Nations. The ride costs $9 and takes about 37 minutes. Learn more about the Denver Airport Rail.

Bus and Rail

RTD (Regional Transportation District) is Denver’s local public transportation. With more than 170 bus and rail routes, RTD is an easy way to travel around Denver.

Once you get downtown, Denver B-Cycle is a great option. With over 100 stations throughout the city, B-Cycle is an affordable and sustainable transportation method. Bonus! If you drop your bike off and have a drink, you don’t need to return the bike. Just leave it and get home on someone else’s wheels.

Public parking is available in the downtown area, but we suggest you use public transport, bikes, or carpool if possible.

Lyft will be providing discount codes for festival goers throughout the weekend. New users use code SLOWFOODNATIONS and $10 will be donated to Slow Food USA from Lyft.
