Brian was in business marketing for nearly 20 years when he decided he wanted to do something else, so he started a chocolate business in 2008. Kakao has since grown to 25 employees and two stores by focusing on the best possible all-natural ingredients and making everything by hand. Having a food business has allowed Brian to be more involved with the restaurant and culinary community in St. Louis and engage with more people on the topics of Slow Food.
